Going back to school today!

 So I'm going back to school tonight after a long and relaxing spring break. But before I leave, I thought it would be considerate to update my art blog before I go back again.

 Mind you that I will still be updating this blog regularly. ;)

 Burnes Hogarth female body sketch

 Yesterday, I decided to warmup with a resketch the female anatomical body. It's starting to look a lot more like what is featured in the book.

Rorschach Gizmo 2.0

This is just a resketch of an old drawing that I did several months back. I like the inking directing that I went with in the top half section of the drawing and the with the bottom, but I feel that there was more I could've done. Oh well. I could always draw it again.

 

Zombie sketch

Since I haven't drawn any zombies in a while, I decided to draw one of my own, in my own style. Isn't he cute? ;)

Hi everybody. I am getting more work done faster each update and I'm feeling more confident with how I'm drawing. Right now my family is watching Fireproof, while I rip it apart mst3k-style XD. Anyway, here's some art updates.

While these both have their share of errors (you can see through Glork in the first pic, and the screen in the 2nd pic is slanted), I'm feeling more confident as I try to keep the atmosphere detailed as I storyboard. :)

Burnes Hogarth sketches

I really need to get into the habit of drawing more figures in order to really naturally draw people better. Luckily, I got started with my 2nd figure, with the female anatomy. Eventually, when I start my Studio Drawing 2 class, my Professor will help educate me on how to draw figures more fluentally.

What a week! I turned 21

Hey guys! I got some great news! My interview with the owner of Funny Business Comic books down at Downtown Nyack was seen in the paper today, when I picked it up. Unfortunately, there was no strip seen in the paper, but this is a good start for the year.

And of course, I managed to post new art this week, as well as Birthday art this week since I turned 21 on Wednesday.

Tom Servo ala Terminator

It feels nice to sketch a Mst3k character again. I have really been watching that show every week now. I wish they brought it back so they could get Tom Servo and Crow back with Mike or Joel in the silloutte corner.

Anyway, this is a sketch of Tom Servo dressed in his Terminator outfit as seen at the end of Hobgoblins. Looks like somebody's gonna get kicked in the shin tonight. ;)

Since I turned 21 on Wednesday, I thought I'd draw myself a little birthday sketch. Cool, isn't it?

Zim sketches

I think I'm starting to get better at sketch Zim characters, but I still need work in some areas, like facial expressions and a few other factors.

Zombie Boyfriend

Of course, after I drew the Zombie girl for the comic strip for the college paper, I decided to sketch her a boyfriend. Wait till I sketch them together in their own picture. ;)
