Last week, Muppet fans mourned the passing of beloved muppeteer, Jerry Nelson-- voice and puppeteer of countless characters such as the Count, Floyd Pepper, Robin, Mr Johnson, Herry Monster, Sherlock Hemlock, and countless other characters; including the one above, the left side of the two headed monster.
With Richard Hunt on his side, the two headed monster represented the bond and friendship that these two performers shared, aside from Jim Henson and Frank Oz w/ Ernie/Bert.
It was a great tragedy for us to lose Mr. Nelson-- as we press on the future of the muppets, let us remember Jerry Nelson and Richard Hunt with this heartwarming sketch...
