A Couple days ago...
There was this...
and this...
I do apologize for my lack of update regarding my artwork this month. I have been on vacation with my family and have neglected updating. Don't fret. I will keep updating.
See you next post.

Diving into spring break!
pear drawings
This is a pair of pears that I drew based off my Art Professor's website. Nice to know that my shading is getting better, but I think I may redraw this.
shapes practice
Again, I decided to redraw the shapes sketch so I can work on the details of each shape, based off the photo.
Burnes Hogarth arm
Nothing much to say about this; this was just for practice.
Rejected Mad Love Cover
As seen in the Bruce Timm edition of Modern Masters, this was one of the rejected covers for Mad Love and other stories. I felt compelled to draw this so I can take what I learned from my art class and apply it to this cover. I like how I got a good angle on Harley's figure-- though some things still need a bit work.
Haha! Gotta love the Joker's reaction XD
Mr Freeze sketch

Again, this image was also taken from Modern Master's interview with Bruce Timm.
Just looking from a glance, this piece almost looks perfect; but if you look closely in the Helmet area, you can tell one problematic error. I'm posting it here just to keep record of how I did.
But again, I like how I'm applying what I've learned from my art class and putting it into good use. It shows I'm really getting there. :)
Amelia meets Dexter
Hah! Like most of you youngsters growing up, I excessively watched Dexter's Lab. It was one of my favorite cartoons of all time. Here, he's encountering one of my own characters, Amelia Enmity and it seems that some old habits never die. ;)
However, I think Amelia could be better. Something about her legs don't seem to work. It's like, they're there, but they're not properly drawn in her skirt area.
Ork, Glork N Spork storyboards
Now that I have spring break, I can finally resume my storyboard work for my Alien Nation promo I intend to put together. I think this time, the trio are really starting to pop out. I mean look at the shadowing on the characters, it seems like they're really coming alive.
That's all for now folks. Until next time, stay sharp. ;)

Last Day of Finals! Yay! :D
Hey guys. I thought you should know that today is the last day of Finals and the day I go back home for the Winter Break. Now I'll be able to get that 14 hour sleep that I deserve over the break. <3
Also, yesterday I overhauled a major art update since I accomplished two big Finals that I really needed to put ahead over my art. But here they are without further adue.
Batman under the Mistletoe
This was a picture that I copied from Modern Masters: Bruce Timm, seeing how it was fit for this holiday season, and since Catwoman's starring in the latest Chris Nolan Batman film.
I think I made Catwoman a little too big for Batman, in terms of proportion and height. But I still love the semigloss shading I did with the characters. And seeing how I wanted to experiment with character interactions, I'd say this is a good start :)
Bone Sketchdump
Looked back on my Bone stories book that I bought at a book store a week or so ago, and experimented with expressions and attempting to draw more poses. Not all of them are perfect, but they're good practice. :)
Barkley take 2
This is another drawing of Barkley I did to experiment with walking styles, and improve upon what I did with his previous sketch. He looks so much happier walking like that and his dog drool looks more messy. ;)
I may draw another sketch tonight to experiment with another pose.
That's all folks (until next time).

tattooed everything
I officially finished my tattoo designs for my friend on campus! And they actually look good! Huzzah! :D Hopefully, when the time comes when she and her friends get the tattoos, I'll be able to get pictures of how they look on them. :D
And being that it's been nearly the whole week since I updated my blog, I've been really swamped with school work and haven't had much time to draw at all. Luckily, late Wednseday and yesterday, I was able to resume my artwork and draw some Superman artwork
Darkseid Sketchdump
I thought I'd practice with the lord of apokolips for a little sketch crossover I have in mind featuring him. :) What am I crossing over with Darkseid, you ask? Well, that's going to be a surprise. ;)
Superman at Dan Turpin's Funeral
This is another piece I wanted to practice with a bit because I thought it contained the most powerful imagery in TV animation. I still can't believe I was 8 years old when this aired.
Pulled out some wings take 1
Of course, since it's been a while since I ever drew an angel with wings (or in this case, Joy from my Trouble Shooters project), I thought I give her a go after looking back at Chris Garcia's take on Joy. You can tell right here that I have a lot to work on; I still have to fix hands, arm length, the legs, her pose and a few more things. So this isn't the official piece. The line work is good for sure, but everything else needs work. I hoped that she would look like she was in mid air while her wings would pop out. Well, I can still try again. :)

Bruce Timm Batman art
Hey fans! Just thought I'd let you know that I'm still producing art and that I've just started college today. I'm currently working on a superhero design for a friend, so I thought I'd throw in some character sketches from the Batman universe just for the occasion. :)
Mr Freeze
"Take a good look, bloggers! I've been like this for nearly 50 years, and I haven't aged one day. I have become what many men have dreamed of-- an immortal; and yet, there hasn't been a day, an hour, a minute-- I haven't thought about death; it obsesses me, even now." ;)
Batgirl
After watching clips of the Batman episode 'Over the Edge' I just had to sketch Batgirl; she's just an awesome character on the show. :)
That's about it for now.
